Declared a biosphere reserve, it is home to many plants and animals. The cloud forest among the mountains is home to the national bird of Guatemala, the Quetzal. Residents here grow coffee, corn, beans, tomatoes and sugarcane. Dark Chocolate, Candy Corn, Panela, Balanced. Caturra, Bourbon, Castillo, and San Ramon varieties.
